Time Flies Along

And We Just Keep On Keepin' On

Well, we mostly finished the cabin this year.

In the spirit of the Season, lamenting woes of builders you won't hear.

It's hard to complain when we've been blessed with such a gift.

If you want to come visit, it will give our spirits a lift.

Curtis' church job changed from Bishop's Counselor to Young Men's Prez.

Though the boys are great, they don't listen to everything he says.

He still enjoys his job powering the phones;

And also took up reffing to defray the cabin loans.

Meri continues her work with home and brood.

She loves them even when they make a mess - how rude!

Squeezing choir, laundry, and writing into the days she tries to fit;

And then she became Den Mom - surprise, she actually likes it!

Brynna is now our sweet fifth grader.

For no one in the world would we trade her.

She still does gymnastics, and dance is back;

But her talent really shines on the keys of ivory and black.

Joel is our junior scientist boy.

Figuring out how things work gives him much joy.

Soccer is now the best game on his mind.

On defense he's great, but on offense he's too kind.

This year for Joshua brought Kindergarten's beginning.

Of letters, numbers and patterns he is now excitedly learning.

He still cheerfully keeps mom company all morning long,

Active and happy, his confidence and will are still quite strong!

As we think of you, dear friends and family

Know we wish you joy and a new year of love and prosperity.

We hope that during this season of Christmas cheer

That you too will remember the birth, life, sacrifice and love of our Savior dear!
